Q: What's the secret of professionally published authors?

A: They have professional editors.

Don't have an editor (yet)? Let's fix that!

The Small Print

What I DO edit

Books (fiction and nonfiction), short stories, op-eds, articles, essays, query letters, "first fifties," and most other types and formats of writing!

I refer to the Chicago Manual of Style for all works except newspaper and magazine articles, which are proofread using the Associated Press style guide. Spellings are based on the most recent edition of the Merriam Webster dictionary.

How do I book an editing service?

Please fill out the form above and provide details about your manuscript and your preferred service. Within 48 hours, you will receive a quote and an estimated timeline. If you would like to proceed, you will be asked to pay half the cost upfront, with the other half to be paid upon project completion.

What I DO NOT edit

School assignments, film scripts, material containing graphic violence or explicit sexual content, footnotes or endnotes.

I do not fact-check material.

What payment methods do you accept?

Paypal and Venmo are both accepted.

How soon will my manuscript be returned?

Quote requests will be answered within 48 hours. The editing process time will be discussed at this point. For books, expect a turnaround time of up to a month. For shorter projects, this time will be significantly shorter.
